Non 'A'
Before we started breeding section A's we had a selection of ridden horses and ponies,
some of our favourites are shown below
Dundee Mick joined us in 1994 from Anne and Andrew Leaver. He was a fantastic allrounder having good placings at county level as a show cob and doing everything from polocrosse to one day eventing in his spare time! |

Holiday Gambler Gambler was a traditional Irish bred conemara, very elegant but with oodles of bone, he joined us from Gemma Craven (nee Marsh) in 1996. |

Hilgarth Morgan Bertie is probably best known as Tom Thumb - the name under which he has competed as a show cob. He was purchased in 1997 as a replacement for Johnny the Fox a working hunter we unfortunately lost. Bertie was pretty much the perfect show cob, he had the head of a duchess, backside of a cook and the most wonderful ground covering stride. The highlight of his career to date was a trip to HOYS in 1999 As a veteran he narrowly missed qualifying for Olympia. |
